This is a render of the Venture One, currently being developed by Venture Vehicles. It’s a plug in hybrid design that can travel 30 miles on a charge before the generator kicks in to recharge the batteries. While in generator operation it will run at 100 mpg.

Just looking at the photo and fuel economy makes this vehicle already look good. But seeing the vehicle in action that inspired this design (the Carver) and the price tag that Venture Vehicles claims will be the final price (under $20k) of this soon to be mass produced vehicle, you may just hold off on your next vehicle purchase to get one of these.
